“Cafe en casa” on Moshik Temkin's New Book, *Warriors, Rebels & Saints* (2023)
Note:
On Friday, September 13th, the Miami Institute for the Social Sciences held a virtual “Café en casa." We were in discussion with Moshik Temkin about his new book, Warriors, Rebels, and Saints: The Art of Leadership from Machiavelli to Malcolm X (New York: Public Affairs, 2023). Miami Institute Board Member, Alden Young, served as moderator. Created in collaboration with the National Conference of Black Political Scientists (NCOBPS), the Miami Institute's ongoing virtual series “Café en Casa” brings together scholars and activists across generations in dialogue on research and memory— on what it means to achieve greater equality, liberation, and human dignity at the local, national, regional, and global levels.
The recording is available here.
